Jett Diaz Obituary was held on Thursday, December 22, 2022.

Jett worked hard throughout his conflict and was an honor roll student in the ninth grade at Newburgh Free Academy.

He played for the Newburgh Knights and, most recently, the Northeast Sticks while being very involved in travel baseball.

The local New Windsor fields are where our #88 developed into a great outfielder and patient batter.

Those closest to him called him “Macho,” and he always supported his colleagues on and off the field.

Family and friends paid their respects on December 22, 2022, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Goodwill Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 2135 State Route 208, Montgomery, NY 12549.

At around 7:00 p.m., the church had a funeral service.

A private burial was also scheduled.

“Donations in memory of the deceased may be made to the Newburgh Knights at 4 Miriam Way, Newburgh, NY 12550 in lieu of flowers. The New Windsor Little League complex, where Jett grew up and discovered his love and passion for baseball, will be improved thanks to all donations.”

His parents survived Jett, his sister Jaxyn Diaz of New Windsor, and his grandparents Lt. Col. Thomas Clark, USAF Retired, his wife Carolyn, and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
