It’s time to get festive as the first trailer for Mariah Carey’s animated movie, All I Want For Christmas Is You, has been released.
Narrated and executive produced by Mariah, the movie is centred on little Mariah (Breanna Yde – School of Rock) as she sets out to make her ultimate Christmas wish come true – having a puppy of her own!
The trailer shows that Little Mariah has asked Santa for a puppy for several years but to no avail. However, when she is asked to take part in a fashion show which requires a girl and her dog, it seems like her luck just might change! Little Mariah falls in love with a puppy named Princess at the pet store, but before her wish comes true, she must prove that she can dog-sit her uncle’s dog, Jack.
In addition to Mariah and Breanna, the voice cast includes: Henry Winkler (Happy Days) as Grandpa Bill, Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls) as Mariah’s mum Penelope, and Phil Morris (Smallville) as Mariah’s dad Bud. Additionally, Laya Hayes (Doc McStuffins) voices Mariah’s friend Vicky whilst Keiko Agena (Gilmore Girls) voices Emiko, the pet adoption facilitator.
We can also expect plenty of Mariah songs in the movie, including an all-new original track called ‘Lil Snowman’. The songstress will also be performing ‘Miss You Most (At Christmas Time)’, ‘Christmas Time Is In The Air’, as well as the iconic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’.
Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You is released on Blu-ray™, DVD, Digital and On Demand on November 14, 2017. There will also be digital bonus features, which will see Mariah and Breanna discuss their roles in the film, their love for dogs, and their favourite things about Christmastime.
